98%Chimp ("we", "us", "our") operates Dunning-Kruger Derby ("DK Derby"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Email address and first name ... provided when you sign up for early access
• Gameplay data ... questions answered, confidence scores, accuracy, and calibration metrics
• Device information and usage analytics ... collected via Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used
• No sensitive personal data is collected ... we do not collect financial information, government identifiers, health data, or biometric data

2. How We Use Your Information

• To notify you when DK Derby launches and to send product updates
• To improve question quality, difficulty calibration, and scoring algorithms
• To generate anonymized, aggregate research insights about confidence calibration patterns
• We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

3. Data Storage

• Early access list ... stored in Google Sheets, secured with access controls limited to 98%Chimp team members
• Gameplay data ... stored in Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure), subject to Google's security standards and data processing agreements

4. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@98chimp.ca and we will respond within 30 days.

5. Analytics

• Firebase Analytics is used to track app performance, feature usage, and engagement patterns
• We do not use cross-app tracking
• We do not use advertising identifiers
• Analytics data is used solely to improve DK Derby and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes

6. Children's Privacy

DK Derby is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted data to us, please contact us at hello@98chimp.ca.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the application or via email. Your continued use of DK Derby after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
